Job Summary:
The Communications & Creative Coordinator is responsible for performing daily tasks that align with the department’s long-term goals and objectives.
This position will uphold The Palmetto Bluff Club’s Vision, Mission, and Values; Support the Marketing Department by giving administrative support to the Director of Member Relations and Communications Manager; provide excellent customer service and telephone etiquette; and actively aspires to reach defined goals and objectives.

Essential Job Functions:
Job duties include, although are not limited to:
Support the marketing outreach of the club by working closely with other divisions and coordinating that information with the Communication and Club team.
Create Club promotional assets and collateral in various formats including but not limited to In-Design, Photoshop, Canva, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
Responsible for other administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, photography of Member events, organization of materials, and collateral filing.
The Communications & Creative Coordinator also assists with digital and print communications, ordering and maintaining supplies, and overall Club marketing strategy.
Ability to create Club communications such as articles, emails, and newsletters.
Qualifications:

High school or equivalent education required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or Business preferred.
One to two years of digital marketing experience is required.
Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite software including In-Design, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
Lightroom experience is a plus.
Must possess advanced computer skills in Microsoft Applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Requires proficient mastery of communication skills, both verbal and written including grammar proofing
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Ability to accurately type at least 50 words per minute.
Must be willing to work some holidays and weekends.
Physical Demands:
Most work tasks are performed indoors and at a desk.
Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems.
Must be able to sit at a desk for up to 5 hours per day.
Walking and standing are required for the rest of the working day.
This may include traveling to and from meetings.
The length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to reach other departments of the hotel on a timely basis.
Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
