The Project Manager provides engineering/construction expertise in an assigned area.
Responsibilities include: developing plans for engineering projects according to established engineering standards and state or federal construction policy; preparing designs, specifications, or estimates for projects; preparing for solicitations and evaluating bids; managing the project, schedule, and budget for that project; resolving related issues; inspecting completed projects to ensure safety or compliance with applicable standards or regulations; coordinating, overseeing, and providing quality control for assigned construction projects; interacting with contractors; and maintaining project records.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a related field
* \* Professional Engineer's License or Engineering Intern Certification preferred
* Seven (7) to ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience pertaining to design or execution of construction projects
* Excellent oral/written communication/presentation skills
* must qualify for and obtain Certified Erosion Protection/Sediment Control Inspector within one (1) year of hire
* Strong computer skills
* Must possess and maintain valid driver’s licenseSALARY: $72,139.
