General Definition of Work
The Spring Island Club Weekend Coordinator for Member Services is administrative support for a variety of duties for the River House Post Office and Member Services.
This position reports directly to the Member Relations Director.
Essential Functions
The following functions are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work performed.

Greet and assist members, guests, and visitors with a positive and helpful presence.
Maintain a professional yet approachable representation with the club members and their guests.
Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
Responsible for all incoming telephone calls.
Respond to telephone inquiries.
Transfer calls or take accurate messages as necessary.
All requests/complaints from members and their guests must be followed up by you and/or appropriate supervisor(s).
Responsible for maintaining the organization of the Mail Room, primarily sorting packages.
Responsible for mailroom operation including packages incoming and outgoing, and notify members when packages arrive.
Stay informed of Spring Island events via the member website (see manager for log-in).
Answer member inquiries (via email, phone and in person) pertaining to Club events and/or local community events.
Manage member dining, special events, and activity reservations on member website.
Oversee cottage reservations and coordinate arrival/departure cleanings with the Housekeeping team.
Have a good knowledge of the island’s amenities.
Understand the different roles and services in each department.
With the Director of Club Operation’s approval, maintain inventory of office supplies for Club and Staff.
Check River House common areas and Mail Room for cleanliness, straighten as needed.
Assist Member Services Coordinator and Member Relations Director with special projects as needed.
Performs other duties as apparent or assigned.

Knowledge of efficient office procedures, exceptional organizational skills.
Ability to perform multiple tasks, prioritizes, and exercise good judgment in various situations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
True desire to meet the needs of others: members, their guests, families, and the Spring Island staff team.
Education and Experience
High school diploma a plus
1+ years’ experience in office administration a plus
Physical Requirements
This work requires the regular exertion of up to 25 pounds of force and frequent exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires standing for long periods of time, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, bending, stretching, and twisting or reaching, reaching with hands and arms, using hands to finger, handle or feel and repetitive motions, pushing, pulling or lifting up to 50 pounds.
Work has regular vision requirements; and vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data, using of measuring devices and observing general surroundings and activities; work has exposure to environmental conditions – work in hot, humid and noisy environment with medium traffic.
Special Requirements
Must have a valid driver’s license.
