The selected candidate will work collaboratively with the Director of Accounting and other executive team members.

Qualifications: This includes, but is not limited to: * Prepares monthly reconciliations for designated balance sheet accounts.
* Assists with generation and preparation of accurate monthly financial statements and other operational accounting reports.
* Assists Director of Accounting and external auditors in annual financial audit.
* Supervises, reviews and approves the work of the accounting staff.
* Fills in for Director of Accounting in his/her absence.
Qualified applicants are required to possess 5 years of accounting experience with a background in financial statement preparation, including AP, AR, GL and Payroll.
Proficiency with Excel spreadsheet software.
Knowledge of JD Edwards a plus.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with a high level of detail, accuracy and confidentiality.
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or 10 years of progressive experience is required.
