Join our team as a Warranty/Accounting Clerk and become an integral part of our growing company.
As a Warranty/Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate financial records, seamless warranty processes, and efficient communication with various departments.
Your diligence and expertise will contribute to our commitment to excellence in customer service and financial management.
Responsibilities: *Phone Support:* Efficiently answer incoming calls, addressing customer inquiries and assisting with any issues related to warranty claims, billing, and general inquiries.
*GL Reconciliation*: Perform regular General Ledger (GL) reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
*Warranty Claim Submissions: *Facilitate warranty claim submissions to manufacturers and suppliers, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to procedures.
*Warranty Payment Reconciliations: *Verify warranty payments received and reconcile against submitted claims, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
*Credit Card Payment Reconciliation: *Reconcile credit card transactions and payments, addressing any discrepancies and ensuring accuracy.
*Issue Resolution: *Collaborate with the service department and parts department to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure accurate invoicing.
*Dealertrack DMS Experience: *Utilize Dealertrack Dealer Management System (DMS) for data entry, tracking, and reporting purposes.
*Punctuality and Self-Starting: *Consistently meet deadlines and take initiative to complete tasks independently.
*Communication Skills:* Maintain effective communication with internal teams, external partners, and customers, ensuring a high standard of service.
*Qualifications:* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
Previous experience in warranty processing, accounting, or related roles is advantageous.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook is required.
Experience with Dealertrack Dealer Management System (DMS) is a strong plus.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Punctual and reliable.
