A great candidate has an interest in the utility industry and experience in finance, accounting, or data analysis.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of consulting engagements directly related to the most pressing issues of an industry in rapid transition.
*Responsibilities:*
As a Senior Analyst at Atrium Economics, your key responsibilities will include supporting existing client projects and business development initiatives.
Your role will encompass economic and financial data analysis, regulatory research, staying informed about industry trends, and contributing to the successful completion of projects.
Specific responsibilities include:
* Collaborating closely with team members to ensure the success of various projects.
* Developing and analyzing financial models using Microsoft Excel and other quantitative software.
* Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of analyses and client deliverables.
* Conducting, documenting, and presenting industry research using both subscription-based data services and publicly available sources.
* Synthesizing research findings into client reports, white papers, and initial drafts of expert witness testimony.
* Committing to delivering value-added consulting services to our clients.
*Requirements:*
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
* A Bachelor's degree.
* 1-3 years of experience in economic analysis, regulatory research financial modeling, gained from roles in consulting firms, accounting firms, public utilities, or similar organizations.
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills, coupled with an eagerness to expand your knowledge of the energy industry.
* Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience in accounting and financial practices.
* Detail-oriented with excellent written, presentation, and communication skills.
